A couple of years ago, a friend told me that I should start writing a blog. I ignored her. However, the passing years and limited wisdom that I’ve acquired have shown me that blogging is one of those things that, inevitably, everybody will be doing – like cutting down on air travel and switching over to Macs.

So here I am – ready to throw in my two cents (or should I say pence?) with what seems to be the rest of our computer literate humanity. Whether or not I’ll have anything remotely of substance to say for myself remains to be seen. And perhaps, after months of sending my writing off into the technological void, someone out there in it will get in touch. And what would that be like?

This is going to be my story.
